The VENTuRE project members have organised the first annual networking workshop, which was held online on Thursday, 10 December 2020. The workshop consisted of two seminars.
12:30 – 13:00 (CET): “Assessment of the current practices and local needs for developing smart antifouling strategies towards energy-efficient fishing boats in Turkey”. A project funded by Scottish Funding Council – Global Challenges Research Fund. Presentation by Dr Yigit Kemal Demirel and Dr Soonseok Song.
13:00 – 13:30 (CET): “a Virtual and physical ExperimeNtal Towing centre for the design of eneRgy Efficient sea-faring vessels (VENTuRE)”. A project funded by EU Horizon 2020, (Project No. 856887). Presentation by the project coordinator, Prof. Claire De Marco.
The presentations was followed by a Questions & Answers session.
